Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording transactions, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries and assisting with audits. Collaborating with other departments is crucial for success in this role. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software.
Duties
- Recording Transactions: Recording AR and AP daily transactions and maintaining balance sheet information.
- Preparing reports: Preparing financial reports, budgets, and monthly and annual financial statements
- Reconciling accounts: Reconciling accounts with the company's general ledger to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting regulations
- Preparing journal entries: Preparing journal entries for revenue, accruals, depreciation, amortization, and other information
- Assisting with audits: Assisting with audits and quarterly closings
- Collaborating with other departments: to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
- Supporting: Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties, as needed
Requirements

- Accurately complete tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute to teamwork.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Position is full-time, 40 hours weekly with additional hours required for End of Month (EOM) and End of Year (EOY) duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
