Responsibilities

Accountabilities 1. Provides a positive first impression of the hospital, greets and assists patients and visitors. Learn and maintain general knowledge about CMC, its staff and programs so that information provided to patients and visitors is current.2. Documents appropriate patient complaints/issues into corporate Incident Reporting Internet System (IRIS) and refer to the correct department, providing necessary information to department manager. Follow up to ensure resolution has occurred and patients have been contacted, while ensuring process is HIPAA compliant.3. Answers information desk telephone, screen calls and route to appropriate patient or department.4. Assists patients and visitors with wheelchair needs, shuttles and taxis.5. Monitors lobby and public areas, including waiting rooms and restrooms, for cleanliness. Arranges for maintenance and environmental services as needed.6. Maintains confidential files and performs other clerical tasks.7. Documents vendor badges, parking permits, and accepts deliveries according to department procedures.8. Assists with patient mail. Retrieves home address and forwards mail to patients no longer in the hospital.9. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
