Responsibilities
By joining our Fresno Heart & Surgical campus, as a CT Tech 1, you will be responsible for by specializes in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Collaborates directly with Radiologist regarding CT scan protocol and scan sequence. Provides patient instruction of procedure method. Injects IV contrast for organ enhancement, under the direction of a Radiologist. Perform and understand routine quality control procedures and measurements of the CT systems.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology required
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- One of the following is required
- CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist
- CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine
