Summary
The Clinical Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by training and developing Medical Assistants (MAs) and Phlebotomists, supervising clinical operations, and fostering the professional growth of Medical Assistant Leads. This individual will oversee skill assessments during the hiring process, monitor operational activities, and implement strategies to streamline clinical workflows, ensuring the effective management of patient care and records.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Train new and existing Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Work with the Director of Clinical Operations to support the development and deliver ongoing training programs for Medical Assistants, focusing on clinical skills, operational procedures, and patient care best practices.
- Evaluate the skill levels of potential new hires through structured interviews and hands-on testing to ensure competency in clinical responsibilities.
- Provide continuous education and mentorship for Medical Assistant Leads to develop them as key resources and go-to personnel at their respective locations.
- Monitor and manage medical record requests during chart preparation to ensure Medical Assistants obtain all necessary documents for clinicians to manage patient conditions effectively and support treatment plans.
- Generate and review reports on the status of patient records within the eCW system, ensuring timely updates and accuracy
- Supervise and ensure compliance with established processes for chart preparation, immunization management, and clinical workflows.
- Oversee the proper management of clinical equipment and supplies, ensuring availability, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Standardize facility setups to maintain consistency and adherence to company guidelines across all locations.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, including Center Administrators and Regional Operations Managers,
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor immunization processes and medication inventory to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Track and resolve issues related to vaccine safety, inventory rotation, and waste in collaboration with the Medical Assistant Leads.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, standards, and policies, including infection prevention protocols and performance improvement programs.
- Must travel to all CMG locations to fulfill duties at center-level.
