SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Penn State Health Bern Specialty Suite is seeking a Medical Office Associate for its Suite G02 office! This multi-specialty office oversees urology and urogynecology. On average, the Bern Specialty Suite receives about 35 patients/day, with Tuesdays and Thursdays being the busiest days.

In this position, the Medical Office Associate will be expected to check patients in and out of appointments, verify insurance, and handle incoming/outgoing phone calls. The MOA will be responsible for scheduling appointments and will interact with the back office/clinical team to ensure patients’ needs are met.
