What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPG First Care North Reserve - Clinical Coordinator position at Community Medical?
Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0 FTE
Shift length: 8 hours, M-F
Start Time: 0745
Weekend Requirements: Possible weekend coverage.
Unit: CPG First Care North Reserve
Coordinates the daily operations of a single Specialty Practice and Walk-in Clinics. Ensure the operations of the practice run smoothly, regular staff meetings are held between all departments and physicians, departmental policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to, and the budget is monitored. Assists in supervising assigned staff under the management of a practice manager or director. Oversee the retention of office and medical supplies, manage insurance, and handle patients within the office.
Minimum Education:
- AA degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
Required Skills:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment supporting one or more Physicians.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with the Physician as it relates to the operations of the practice.
