This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status) day shift Practice Coordinator in the CPG Surgical Specialists department.
Coordinates the daily operations of a Physician Practice. Ensure the day to day operations of the practice run smoothly, safely and efficiently, policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to. Assists in supervising assigned staff under the management of a practice manager/director. Oversee supply management, billing process, master schedules, staffing needs, time card edits, competencies, facility and IT needs, data tracking and presentation, facilitates good communication inside and outside of the clinic, assists in other clinic roles as needed, other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
- AA degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment or 4 years of experience in a similar role that has a customer service focus while supporting leadership/management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated analytical ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement a chosen course of action.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
