Unit: CPG Maternal & Fetal Medicine
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Monday-Friday, No weekends or Holidays
Unit specific additional qualifications: (will be department specific)
Position Summary:
The Radiology Tech Ultrasound is responsible for the operation of ultrasound equipment to make high quality obstetric images under the direct supervision of a high risk obstetric physician. Uses sonography to conduct routine and high risk obstetric exams. Displays a thorough knowledge of high risk obstetric conditions. Position may also be TPD with call in the Diagnostic Imaging department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Registered by ARDMS - OB/GYN Required.
- OB/GYN experience and General Ultrasound experience required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Basic verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High Risk OB experience preferred.
- Fetal Echo and NT preferred
