What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPG Physical Medicine & Rehab - Clinical Service Specialist position at Community Medical?
This is a TPD (0.2 Status), day shift Clinical Service Specialist position in the CPG Physical Medicine & Rehab clinic.
The Clinical Service Specialist is a dynamic caregiver who demonstrates excellence in patient care and customer service. Qualified candidates will already have a strong background in customer service and problem-solving behaviors. We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant but are willing to train the employee while they are enrolled in an accredited MA program. The Clinical Service Specialist gets to experience all aspects of the ambulatory clinic. They are trained to room patients, perform front office duties and assist providers with in-office procedures. This position is part time, does not include weekend shifts and is under the clinical supervision of a licensed physician for patient care activities. The Clinical Service Specialist is expected to have high standards of clinical performance with ownership of the patient experience in the clinic setting.
Minimum Required: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program within 12 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers within 30 days of employment. Flexibility for changes in schedule. Ability to work independently and efficiently in busy practice setting. Skills in problem solving, customer service and good clinical judgement for decisions.
