Responsibilities
Position Overview:
Pharmacy Tech I assists the pharmacy professional staff by preparing or manufacturing medications for use by customers; acts as a resource for expertise in specific departmental areas, requires minimal instruction and supervision to complete tasks. Pharmacy Tech II assists the pharmacy professional staff by preparing or manufacturing medications for use by customers; acts as a resource for expertise in specific departmental areas, requires minimal instruction and supervision to complete tasks.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Valid CA Pharmacy Technician registration
- Three (3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience (Tech II Requirement)
Preferred :
- Certificate from college or technical school
Pharmacy Technician Board Certified
- IV Room compounding experience
