Compensation

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities

The Marketing & Development assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Marketing and Ojai Development departments in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment. This role serves as the primary initial contact for both the Director of Marketing & Development and the Director of Physician Relations, coordinating the flow of information between the Directors and physicians, office managers, donors, board members, members of the Community Memorial management team, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in General Studies, Communication, or related field
• Five (5) years progressive experience in administrative support, secretarial, clerical, or project management role(s)
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent organizational, strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, presentation skills
• Strong professional demeanor and ability to effectively engage stakeholders at multiple levels inside and outside the organization
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team contributing to the goals of multiple departments
• Maintains a CA Drivers License
• Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the Community Memorial Healthcare insurance coverages

• Bachelor’s degree
• Three (3) or more years of experience in medical administration, marketing, or fundraising
