Job Summary
The referral coordinator provides support services to the providers and staff to ensure continuity of patient care by assisting with follow-up and referral scheduling, as well as coordinating insurance coverage via prior authorization when needed.
Requirements
- High school or GED required.
- Minimum one year experience in healthcare setting.
- Understanding of basic medical terminology.
- Knowledge of basic functions of personal computer and word processing skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff.

Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage from $19.48 to $26.30 per hour.
