What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator 2A - Wraparound-FF position at Community Mental Health Authority?
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Families Forward (FF) Supervisor, the Wraparound Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations of the FF Wraparound program and the direct supervision of the team of Wraparound Facilitators. The Wraparound program services children with a serious emotional disturbance (SED) and their families who are involved in multiple systems (i.e. school district, child welfare, court) through a Wraparound team approach. The Coordinator supports Wraparound Facilitators to be available and responsive to families to creatively meet families’ unmet needs, help plan for safety, and achieve their goals using a person and family centered approach. In addition, the Wraparound Coordinator is able to develop strong and meaningful relationships with supervisees, the FF management team, and community partners. Ideal candidates have strong leadership skills, balance a balcony/ big picture perspective with progress on the ground, have program development skills and experience, and utilize a strength based approach to work with children and families as well as their colleagues and supervisees. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures. Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university required. Possession of full license through State of Michigan required (e.g., LMSW, LPC). A minimum of 3 years of work with children and families is required. At least one (1) year work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position is required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.
Conditional Employment Requirements Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history .
