What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSU Supervisor/RN Supervisor position at Community Mental Health Authority?
Responsibilities: Under the direction of Families Forward (FF) Director, works with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, implement, and supervise the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) portion of FF Crisis Services. May supervise other medical aspects of Families Forward, which may include the FF medication clinic and other medical services throughout FF. The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: supervision of process and staffing, some direct services to consumers, consultation and participation in program planning and coordination across program units and departments (e.g., Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled, Adult Mental Health Services), data collection and analysis, development of policy and procedures, and other administrative duties. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing a minimum of five (5) years' experience working within a behavioral health setting. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. A minimum of three (3) years of work experience with Youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance and their families. Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position. Demonstrated leadership skills required. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and confidentiality. Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license and access to reliable means of transportation for job related use required. Required to operate a computer. Must pass a State of Michigan police clearance check. May participate in a management 24-hour on-call system, which may also include holidays and weekends. Must be able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history. Must pass a pre-employment 5-panel drug screen. Must undergo and pass a Central Registry Clearance check. May be required to be fingerprinted.

Salary/Hours: Starting salary $79,480 - $90,119 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $111,407 per year. 40 hours per week.
