Development Director

Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, Inc.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience

General Overview : The Development Director will play a pivotal role in raising critical funds for our organization. In 2025, Community Missions celebrates its 100th year of service to the Niagara community. We are seeking a talented, creative fundraising professional to help us secure funds to maintain and grow programming as we enter our second century of service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in major gift fundraising, experience in donor cultivation, a passion for helping strengthen our community, and a genuine interest in engaging with people.

Qualifications :

• Three years’ experience in development within a non-profit organization.
• Proven success in researching and securing individual gifts, including annual fund and major gifts.
• Experience with major gifts, capital campaign fundraising, and grant writing preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
• Computer competency and demonstrated proficiency with fundraising databases (Bloomerang preferred) and various computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid NYS Drivers License and willingness to travel as needed.
• Master’s degree preferred.
