Youth Care Worker- Overnight
Location- Lockport
Job Type- Part-time and Full-time
Job Summary- This role provides essential support and care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being. The positions are responsible for delivering trauma informed and person-centered restorative services to the residents as well as documenting resident functioning. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and enjoys working in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities-
· Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and medication management.
· Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
· Provide one on one restorative and/or skill building sessions with residents
· Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
· Provide crisis intervention and support to residents in emergency situations
· Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
· Must be awake during shift
Qualifications-
· High school Diploma or GED plus 1 year work experience
· Valid New York State Driver’s License with clean driving record
· CPR/Red Cross trained (agency will provide)
Positions Available-
· Full-time (1 position)
· Part-time (2 positions)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $31,782.00 - $33,738.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
