What are the responsibilities and job description for the Violin Instructor position at Community Music Center?
Community Music Center seeks a violin/viola instructor to teach private lessons at our Mission District. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and passion to teach people of all ages, varying from beginner to more advanced levels. This position is scheduled to start in Winter Quarter 2025. This position can be combined with the Middle School Young Musicians Program Chamber Group and Music Theory Instructor.
Status: Hourly beginning January 2025
Location and Hours: Mission District Branch
- Tuesdays, 3–7pm
- Saturdays, 9–11:30am and 2:30–5pm
Compensation: $46/hour for private lessons. Additional opportunities are available for compensated performances and meetings. Free practice room and studio rental as available.
