BASIC SUMMARY:
Supervises loan servicing operations. Backs up and performs various loan servicing activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee day to day operation of assigned department
- Provide support to staff and customers
- Perform various loan servicing activities, along with providing backup for duties
- Delegate distribution of department workload among personnel
- Responsible for personnel management activities such as: scheduling, personnel actions (hiring, promotions, transfers, annual performance and salary reviews) Oversees training and cross-training of staff. Provides direction, guidance and feedback to staff
- Assist with department-related audits
- Working knowledge of mortgage rate uploads and the behind the scenes workings of this process
- Assist with daily, monthly, quarterly general ledger balancing
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, generate payments to vendors
- Prepare various reports, including investor reports
- Follow up and resolve problems and handles special cases
- Maintain and recommend systems and procedures to increase effectiveness of day to day operations
- Assist with implementation/updating of software associated with department
- Ensure quality customer service
- Comply with Code of Ethics Standards and applicable bank compliance laws and regulations
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: High School degree or G.E.D.
· Experience: Three to five years related experience.
· Other: Must have demonstrated skills in: customer service, attention to detail, general computer/internet skills, verbal communication, integrity, people skills, thoroughness and documentation. Must be able to learn new software quickly. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and work/type at a computer.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
