Job Summary and Scope for the Director of Virtual Health and Business Development :

The Director of Virtual Health and Business Development will spearhead the expansion of sales for CommCARE’s Virtual Health Services and Credentialing Services, as well as for Alternatives Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a wholly owned subsidiary. In this role, you will lead efforts to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and actively develop new business opportunities across key service lines, including Virtual Health, Credentialing, and Employee Assistance Program, along with other identified services.

The Director of Virtual Health and Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth of both CommCARE and Alternatives through the development and management of all marketing activities, including advertising, public relations, research, and referral development. This role will oversee the management of the marketing budget, develop and present workshops, and coordinate community events. In addition, you will analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing data-driven insights to optimize strategy and performance.

Job Summary and Scope for Virtual Health :

The Director of Virtual Health will lead the strategic development and operational management of our virtual health services. This role will focus on enhancing patient access to deliver high-quality care remotely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral healthcare, management, as well as marketing and promotion.

Qualifications & Education :

Minimum :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related area, with a proven track record in business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and handle multiple tasks effectively and simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet or exceed sales and business development goals.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to virtual health services, healthcare credentialing, and employee assistance program is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, being proactive and adaptable to changing business conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
  • Comfortable use of technology and digital platforms for various business and operational tasks.
  • Experience in strategic partnerships, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Proven success in business development, specifically in areas such as Employee Assistance Program (EAP), virtual health services, or healthcare credentialing.
  • In-depth knowledge of EAP program, telehealth services, and healthcare credentialing processes.

Preferred Skills :

  • Two or more years of experience in behavioral health, employee assistance or population health.
  • Knowledge of industry certifications and standards for healthcare credentialing (e.g. NCQA).
