Position Overview
The Area Manager oversees the operations of the Tooele branch, ensuring exceptional service delivery in Home Health Care, Hospice and related services. This role involves managing staff, driving business growth, meeting financial and productivity goals, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong healthcare background and business, as well.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in supervisory roles, preferably within healthcare. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and Home Health/Hospice regulations is highly desirable.
- Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, and computer proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch operations, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Mentor, and develop a cohesive, multidisciplinary team.
- Drive business growth by building community relationships and achieving census goals.
- Ensure compliance with all professional, organizational, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with HR and clinical leadership to address staffing and performance needs.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively to meet financial targets.
- Promote customer satisfaction and represent CNS positively in the community.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and internal organizational activities.
Major Challenges
- Coordinating services across multiple disciplines to meet client needs.
- Balancing resource allocation with quality and cost efficiency.
- Leading staff through change and empowering decision-making.
