Essential Functions
- Learns International Headquarters staff and functions
- Provides exceptional guest service and hospitality on the phone and to guests visiting the Temple in-person.
- Demonstrates welcoming and reverent conduct with guests reflecting respect for the sacred nature of the Temple in all spaces. Coordinates duties and tasks daily with supervisor or designated hospitality staff (limited degree of independent action)
- Generates appropriate responses to guest questions/concerns and situations that arise based on a range of known standards such as the Enduring Principles of Community of Christ and security standards outlined by the Director of Safety and Security;
- Trains new volunteers under guidance of the Hospitality Minister
- Regularly updates current volunteers with new information, practices, and expectations. Does not supervise volunteers.
