This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life – become an Adult Development Home Provider! This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.
The Adult Developmental Home Provider will ensure best practices and technology are used to teach people with developmental disabilities how to acquire the physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills needed to live as independently as possible.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
- Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
- Must be open to supervisory visits in your home
Adult Development Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
