We are currently hiring an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to work in our River Edge, NJ location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to individuals in their community settings, ensuring their health and well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering treatments and healthcare procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensuring individuals attend medical appointments as outlined in their Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- Communicating effectively with individuals, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Providing education and training to staff on medical needs of assigned individuals
- Monitoring health and medical conditions, referring individuals for medical services when necessary
To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the nursing field, at least one year of experience providing nursing services to individuals with disabilities, and a valid nursing license. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.
