We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in River Edge, NJ. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide direct care to individuals in their community settings, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate care plans.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, interacting effectively with individuals, family members, and healthcare professionals while maintaining professional standards. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $00 per hour.
- Provide treatment and healthcare procedures ordered by physicians and adhere to professional practice standards
- Ensure individuals attend medical appointments as per their Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- Advise supervisors of concerns and issues related to nursing services
- Train employees on medical needs of assigned individuals
- Monitor health and medical conditions, referring individuals for medical services when necessary
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members, businesses, and families to build support networks
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the nursing field, minimum one year of experience providing nursing services to individuals with disabilities, and a valid nursing license. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.
