We are now hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist in Hillsborough, NJ. The Physical Therapist will provide medical, therapeutic and recreational support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are now hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist in Hillsborough, NJ. The Physical Therapist will provide medical, therapeutic and recreational support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing rehabilitating services to our individuals
- Evaluate consumers, create physical treatment plans, and ensure the implementation of the plan
- Responsible for training staff on all plans
- Ensure that all consumers' adaptive equipment are operable
- Serve as an active member of each person’s Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT), which includes involvement in Individual Habilitation Plan development
- Prepare progress reports for consumer's immediate support group
- Ensure that staff are documenting accurately and current physical therapy plans are being implemented, to ensure our consumer’s overall needs are being met
- Comply with all internal and state regulations and participate in all inspections and investigations
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
- Employee must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in-home community-based service or related field
- Knowledge and understanding of local regulatory agency operations
- Understanding and commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilities
- Valid driver's license
