We are actively seeking a skilled Treasury Analyst in Newtown, PA. The Treasury Analyst assists the Director of Finance and Treasury carry out the treasury functions including the allocation of cash and other investments, maintenance of investment records, and preparation of expense and earnings forecasts. The Treasury Analyst will assist with all cash and net working capital management aspects for the Company’s entities. The role interacts with other functional areas of Corporate Accounting, Payables, Billing, and Receivables. The candidate must have exceptional Excel skills and strong communication skills, oral and written. The candidate must be analytical and possess strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, account funding. Ensure adequate working capital needs and invest short term excess cash. Manage inter-company cash, including inter-company lending and capital injections.
- Participate in month end closing for Cash processes, ensuring reporting period in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Review daily banking activity for fraud, unusual transactions and / or other matters requiring follow up / investigation.
- Assist with Fraud and other Investigations as required.
- Assist with the management, reporting and forecasting of the Company’s net working capital position. Engage in proactive Asset Liability management to optimize the company’s financial position.
- Report and Improve weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with the cash management banking and fostering of financial institution relationships. Review and report on bank and service fees. Coordinate the establishment and renewal of Letters of Credit.
- Assist with the implementation of new bank technologies, products, and services to improve cash conversion cycle and simplify company operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Develop and monitor treasury operational policies.
- Assist with the management and reconciliation of mortgages and other debt
- Actively participate in special projects and department initiatives
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
