Family Enrollment Specialist

Job Description:
Responsible for receiving visitors and telephone calls and offering excellent customer service. Interviews families and assists with the completion of all required eligibility paperwork for CPCD programs. Monitors large caseloads and waiting lists and works with CPCD staff and partners to maintain full enrollment.
Pay Scale:
$21.57 / Hour

At CPCD, we provide more than 1,500 children living in poverty, or who are challenged by special circumstances, with an early childhood education through Head Start, Early Head Start, and the Universal Preschool Program. Additional Benefits for Eligible Employees (25 hours per week):
CPCD offers paid vacation time, paid sick time, and paid holidays/Breaks.
- Paid Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Juneteenth, Presidents Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Paid Breaks include 1-week for Spring Break (March), 1-week for Fall Break (November), and 2- weeks for Winter Break (end of December/beginning of January).

Required:
- 30 semester college credit hours in business, human services, or closely related field. Successful and relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of college credit.
- At least one year’s general office or office management experience.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of common office equipment, complex telephone systems, computers, and computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and other software programs to enter and/or process information data.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and practical application of systems such as word processing, data entry, managing files and records, designing, and accurately completing forms.
- Must be motivated, professional, reliable, detail oriented, and organized. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines.
- Possess interpersonal skills to interact with the public and work with staff in a professional, respectful manner. Strong customer service orientation and conflict management skills.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required).
- Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
