Community Partnership for Children (CPC) is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our mission of enhancing early childhood education and community engagement in Grant County. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful programs that support children, families, and educators while gaining valuable experience in community outreach, mentorship, and training.
AP Training Facilitator Volunteer:
· Receive certification to facilitate Abriendo Puertas (AP) trainings to support parents and caregivers in early childhood education.
· Plan, organize, and lead AP training sessions, ensuring materials are engaging and accessible to diverse participants.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to parents and caregivers, helping them implement strategies learned in the trainings.
· Collaborate with CPC staff to schedule and promote AP trainings in the community.
· Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant progress, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
General Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with program staff, partners, and community members.
· Follow CPC’s policies and procedures to ensure a positive and professional volunteer experience.
· Attend volunteer meetings, training sessions, and outreach events as needed.
· Support CPC’s mission of strengthening early childhood education through advocacy and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Passion for working with children and families in an educational setting.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative when needed.
· Organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Must pass a background check.
