Job Description
Summary of Position
The Program Director, LEAD, reports to the CEO and is responsible for informing and overseeing operations to support services for clients with behavioral health conditions living in extreme poverty and involved in the criminal justice system.
This position is funded by a King County contract operating in the White Center and Unincorporated North Highline area and works in tandem with LEAD’s operations in Burien. The LEAD program works with individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use disorders to help them achieve stability and improve quality of life.
Program Manager
- Oversee a team that includes a screening and outreach coordinator and multiple case managers who work directly with clients to help them access resources to address their behavioral health conditions, housing needs, and criminal justice involvement.
- Set the direction and policy for harm reduction case management and other best practices.
- Support CP LEAD Team in tailoring case management services and developing clinically oriented treatment planning.
- Support Screening & Outreach Coordinator to assess healthcare needs and address emergent client needs.
- Facilitate sharing of information and paperwork between case managers and screening and outreach coordinators.
- Crisis Management and Problem Solving : Address and resolve conflicts and crises that may arise within the program.
- Budgeting : Management of the program's budget and timely financial reporting.
- Data Management and Reporting : Ensure data collection and reporting processes.
- Monitor program outcomes and grant requirements.
- Staff Supervision : Manage the performance of staff members.
- Staff Wellness : Monitor and promote self-care throughout the team.
- Performance Evaluation : Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff members.
- Employee Engagement and Team Building : Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and collaboration.
- Partner with other service providers and programs within Community Passageways.
