Summary of Position
The SCSI - SE Seattle Resource Navigation Manager leads a team dedicated to connecting youth and young adults (ages 12-30) impacted by systemic violence to trauma-informed, wraparound services. Reporting to the SCSI – SE Seattle Safe Passages Director, this role ensures high-impact service delivery through Community Safety Hubs, direct resource navigation, and crisis intervention efforts. The position supervises Resource Navigators ensuring alignment with the Seattle Community Safety Initiative (SCSI) and Community Passageways’ mission of restorative justice, youth intervention, and violence prevention.

Strategic & Collaborative Leadership
- Lead the daily operations of Resource Navigation in alignment with violence prevention and youth intervention strategies.
- Oversee case management at the SE Seattle Hub network, ensuring this location serves as a key gathering space for participants in need of case management, crisis intervention, and wraparound services.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with funders, public agencies, schools, and community-based organizations to ensure coordinated support for youth and families.
- Serve as a liaison between Community Passageways, law enforcement alternatives, and community-based partners to support de-escalation efforts and crisis interventions.
- Support the Critical Incident Response Team in managing post-critical incident response, including financial assistance, vigils, funeral support, and housing relocation for impacted families.
Staff Supervision & Development
Supervise, mentor, and develop Resource NavigatorsImplement training and professional development for staff in restorative justice, trauma-informed care, de-escalation techniques, and motivational interviewing.Establish performance benchmarks for staff and track progress toward programmatic goals.Conduct weekly team meetings and one-on-one supervisions with Resource NavigatorsCoordinate staffing plans and manage program leaves or vacation requests to ensure appropriate coverageWork with HR to oversee hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and coaching for Resource Navigation team members.Promote self-care and burnout prevention across the team.Program Success & Impact
Oversee case management services to ensure youth and families receive :Education & Housing Support : GED completion, high school re-engagement, post-secondary pathways, transitional and permanent housing, landlord advocacy.Employment & Financial Literacy : Job placement, skills training, financial assistance.Mental & Behavioral Health Support : Therapy, psychiatric care, substance use counseling.Legal & Advocacy Services : Court support, defense coordination, eviction prevention.Crisis Intervention & Violence Interruption : Real-time support for families affected by gun violence, retaliation prevention, and conflict mediation.Support Safe Passages programming, ensuring youth avoid unnecessary law enforcement contact and have access to community-based alternatives.Support community hotspot remediation efforts, including pop-up interventions, de-escalation events, and pro-social engagement.Track and report on key performance indicators, such as :Number of at-risk individuals engaged in case management.Number of participants with structured goal plans.Percentage of participants completing at least one life-improving milestone (education, housing, employment, etc.).Community intervention events hosted annually.Fiscal & Program Compliance
Ensure program alignment with funding guidelines, contract deliverables, and reporting requirements.Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all organizational and legal guidelines.Requirements
Requirement :
A clear criminal background check is required for all positions working within our school district or working directly with youth / minors.Preferred Experience or Skills :
At least 1 year of Supervisor experienceExperience working with youthExperience with de-escalation, mediation, and harm-reductionExperience and / or expertise in the area of violence prevention and intervention, or trauma-informed support services among high-risk populations is required.Lived experience of the impact of gun violenceStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic knowledge for Microsoft 365Reliable TransportationPreferred competencies :
