Job Summary:
Community Pharmacy Services in Ambler, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and professional Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Frameworks LTC, and prior experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy settings is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, interpret, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide expert counseling on medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes through appropriate medication therapy management.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of medications.
- Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Deliver immunizations and other health services in accordance with Pennsylvania state guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient profiles, prescriptions, and billing.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring patients receive personalized attention and care.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy regulations, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with pharmacy frameworks, particularly in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings.
- Strong knowledge of medication therapy management (MTM) and patient care in a community pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and staff.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems. Frameworks LTC experience is a huge plus!
Requirements:
- PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Prior LTC pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
