As an Administrative Assistant/Floater, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facility while helping create a positive, welcoming environment for staff, parents, and children. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and flexible individual who thrives in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, taking messages, and assisting with communication tasks
- Supporting the administrative team with various office duties
- Taking and relaying notes accurately
- Multitasking and handling multiple priorities with a positive, solution-oriented approach
- Assisting in classrooms and the kitchen as needed, filling in where necessary
- Assisting with the oversight of school operations in collaboration with the administrative team
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a professional or childcare setting
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work confidentially and professionally at all times
- Leadership and mentorship qualities, with the ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience with childcare systems and front desk operations
- Familiarity with NC Licensing Regulations and Sanitation Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
