Description : CPC is seeking candidates for our Self-Sufficiency Coach positions in York, PA.
SUMMARY : Serves as the liaison between the agency, the community, and clients. Provides intensive coaching to clients in York County to assist them in achieving self-sufficiency. Using the Community Needs Assessment, identifies gaps in programming and services in specific regions within York County. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with community partners and with other CPC programs to integrate and coordinate services to clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Competencies :
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field, plus at least two years of related experience is preferred; OR at least 60 credits in a social service or related program of study, plus two years of related e experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS : Bi-Lingual is highly preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as well as be committed to the mission and goals of the agency. OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Reliable transportation and a valid PA driver’s license. Regular and timely attendance is essential. Ability to be reached by telephone in a timely manner; ability to maintain open communication through the use of emails and work cell phones. May be required to commence workday at different agency sites without compensation for travel time or mileage to the site and the return. Ability to respond to change in a productive manner and handle other tasks as assigned. Ability to work with diverse individuals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to think critically.
COMPUTER : Experience with Microsoft Office Suite in a Windows environment helpful and preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Department of Human Services FBI Clearance, PA State Criminal History, Childline Child Abuse Certification, and submission to the National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) required prior to hire. A physical assessment including a tuberculosis skin test and the Child Abuse “Mandated Reporter” training due within 90-days of hire. Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
