We are seeking candidates for our Family Coach position. Join our team!
Summary : Serves as the link between the family, community and agency for families enrolled in Community Progress Council's Early Childhood Education programs. Assists families with enrollment into programs, goalsetting, and ongoing coaching as it relates to school-readiness and self-sufficiency. Has a full understanding of CPC programming and develops and maintains strong working relationships with community partners. Will problem-solve with family to resolve crises through use of internal and external resources. Provide individualized, culturally sensitive support to family using a relationship-based and client-centered approach and coordinates services internally and externally. Will support family as they transition from Early Childhood Education program to kindergarten. Will partner with the family to create goals and action steps that will move them toward self-sufficiency.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
QUALIFICATIONS : Qualified candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality health and safety tasks. Have reliable transportation for regular and timely attendance as an essential job requirement and the ability to be reached by telephone in a timely manner.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Department of Human Services FBI Clearance, PA State Criminal History, Childline Child Abuse Certification, and submission to the National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) required prior to hire. Employees hired for positions, regulated by Department of Human Services (DHS), are required to submit documentation of a current (less than 1 year) physical assessment including a Tuberculosis skin test, prior to hire and on a biennial basis (physical only) throughout employment. The Child Abuse "Mandated Reporter" training due within 90-days of hire.
