About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Community Public Charter School.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech-language therapy services to students in our school community. This includes developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments and screenings, and collaborating with teachers and parents to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, and fluency goals.
- Conduct Assessments and Screenings: Administer standardized assessments and screenings to identify students with communication disorders and develop recommendations for intervention.
- Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Work closely with teachers and parents to develop and implement strategies to support student progress and communicate regularly with them about student progress.
- Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, including treatment plans, progress reports, and data analysis.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or Higher: A master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- NC Licensure: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina is required.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
