Director of Finance

Job Summary
The Director of Finance is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This position involves managing financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The Director of Finance will work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning and analysis process to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor grant budgets and ensure funds are allocated and spent in accordance with grant agreements.
• Prepare financial reports for grantors, demonstrating effective use of funds and compliance with grant terms.
• Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance.
• Manage profit and loss statements, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue management initiatives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills

• 5 - 10 years experience in a non-profit Financial Leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Proficient in budgeting techniques and financial management strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on account analysis and profit loss evaluation.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ability to develop effective revenue management processes.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities to inspire and guide finance teams towards achieving organizational objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
