Job Summary
The Director of Finance is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor grant budgets and ensure funds are allocated and spent in accordance with grant agreements.
- Prepare financial reports for grantors, demonstrating effective use of funds and compliance with grant terms.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance.
- Manage profit and loss statements, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue management initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills
- 5 - 10 years experience in a non-profit Financial Leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proficient in budgeting techniques and financial management strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on account analysis and profit loss evaluation.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ability to develop effective revenue management processes.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities to inspire and guide finance teams towards achieving organizational objectives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
