Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with certified occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and occupational therapy students to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assess patients' needs, identify and initiate appropriate occupational therapy interventions, and work cooperatively with other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional occupational therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
- Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred but not required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English, with additional languages being a plus.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.
