Nurse Responsibilities:
- Utilize medication knowledge to ensure safe administration based on patient characteristics
- Provide individualized patient care tailored to age-specific needs and rehabilitation standards
- Collaborate with registered nurses to assess patients, identify necessary interventions, and implement effective care plans
- Complete quality improvement assessments accurately and efficiently
- Evaluate and adjust care plans daily to optimize patient outcomes
- Foster strong relationships with patients and families to empower them in care decision-making
- Employ evidence-based pain assessment and management strategies
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited LPN training program
- Valid state licensure as LPN
- CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS desirable
- IV Certification within six months highly preferred
- At least six months' experience in acute care medical/surgical settings
