As a Speech Language Pathologist at Community Rehabilitation Hospital South, you will join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey.
Your Role:
- You will perform patient assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized plans of care.
- In accordance with physician orders, you will provide targeted interventions to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- A key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal results.
- You will participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of evidence-based programs.
- Your expertise will inform budgetary planning, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality services.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for ASHA Clinical Fellow status.
- Licensure in your state and current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
