Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Support individuals with disabilities by facilitating their participation in community activities.
- Implement care plans that address specific needs such as dementia care or assisted living support.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality.
- Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is essential.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments and dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various home or community settings.
