About CRC:Our mission is to help our neighbors create paths to healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships. We do this through a variety of programs including emergency assistance, domestic violence emergency shelter, counseling, housing stability and access to food. Community Resource Center is widely recognized as the primary provider of social services and domestic violence programs in coastal North County San Diego, serving more than 7,200 people each year.
Position Profile: Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Facilities Manager will work in close partnership with all internal departments to develop and refine the internal office processes and procedures to enable CRC to successfully expand its reach and impact. In addition to being an intricate part of the internal team, this position will have opportunities to add value to the organization, grow professionally and participate in the implementation of CRCs strategic plan.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maintains and oversees company grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure the workspace and ground are safe and functional and promotes a clean and safe working environment for clients and staff.
- Negotiatescontracts with service providers and inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and the coordination of renovations and moves.
- Oversees Maintenance department and directs and delegates duties.
- Oversees and directs drivers for Fresh Rescue Program.
- Purchases and manages supplies and supply inventory.
- Schedules routine inspections of various equipment and properties and schedules emergency repairs with maintenance or outside vendors.
- Maintains day to day operations of facilities.
- Reports and updates COO on status of large repairs and maintenance or any issues needing immediate attention.
- Oversees and manages security camera system and security door access.
- Hires and supervises cleaning company.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Facilitates moves and oversees the movement of furniture and office spaces.
- Maintains inventory of computers and electronics assigned to employees.
- Performs all shipping and receiving duties including tracking lost shipments and keeping track of warranties and any repairs.
- Maintains vehicles, registrations, and insurance on all vehicles.
- Coordinates transportation of equipment forspecial events with drivers and event coordinators.
- Schedules yearly water and fire inspections.
- OverseesLoker warehouse and various storage units as needed.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations to include exit plans in case of emergency.
- Prepares budget for yearly maintenance and facility needs with maintenance department.
- Acts as insurance liaison.
Requirements:
- Experience with office equipment, office machines, and office related software.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to clearlyidentify strategic challenges and opportunities and make suggestions where opportunities to improve exists.
