Caregiver Needed in Bonita Springs

Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.

The individual is a 29 year-old man inneed of acaregiver to support him with household chores, meal preparation, and taking him to the park. He enjoys music, movies, Scooby Doo & Spiderman.

This is an independent contract position and pays$15.00 per hour

Schedule: Wednesday & Friday from 12pm-4pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-6pm, days and hours somewhat flexible

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

• Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
• Assisting with personal hygiene
• Meal/snack preparation
• Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to the park
• Promote communication, choice,independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Have aValid Drivers license
• Are 18 years of age or older
