Job Description
The ABA Clinician will play a critical role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral challenges. This role involves developing and delivering effective clinical services using Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) principles and collaborating with colleagues to create support plans that promote positive behaviors and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Psychotropic Medication Treatment Plans and Medication Augmentation procedures based on medication documentation, symptom data, and consultation with psychiatric providers.
- Effectively communicate with families, guardians, the Department of Developmental Services, the Department of Mental Health, and other agencies and providers concerning clinical concerns and progress of individuals served.
- Provide consultation for crisis management and emergency implementation of procedures on an on-call basis.
Requirements
- Master's degree required.
- LCSW, BCBA/LABA, LMHC preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors preferred.
