Screen and evaluate students with respect to motor functions.

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for each student.

Coordinate comprehensive assessments of students as needed.

Provides in-service training to staff.

Provide in-service training to parents.
-
Participates in interdisciplinary evaluations.

Provides treatment services interpreted as an extension of the evaluation process that include:
-
Physical therapy for students in need.
-
Collaboration with appropriate staff to develop specialized programs for developing the motor skills of individuals in the areas of gross and fine motor.

Consultation with staff for motor skills improvement and motor activities.

Develop individual educational plans for each student.

Provide written summaries noting past therapy, from the present phase of therapy and any specific methods to be utilized with the student.

Proficiency in written and oral English required.

All other duties necessary in order to provide continuous services to individual.
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
Education/Certification: NYS License in Physical Therapy
Experience with age-appropriate tests, testing techniques, and test interpretation.
Familiarity with tools of practice including: RDMS-2 and other pediatric standardized tools.
1 year experience with pediatric patients.
Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour
