What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF CLEBURNE COUNTY?
The Community School of Cleburne County is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team of professionals providing therapeutic services in an integrated center-based setting. We are expanding our services to include ABA Therapy in order to provide the best possible outcomes for the children we serve. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans and programming for our clients. The BCBA will work closely with a team of therapists, educators, and family members to ensure the effective delivery of services and to achieve meaningful outcomes for clients.
The Community School of Cleburne County is an Early Intervention Treatment Program that provides multidisciplinary therapeutic services to children with delays in an integrated setting. We offer a collaborative, team-oriented work environment that focuses on providing services that support individuals and their families. We have been providing Early Intervention Day Treatment, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy to children from birth to school-age for over 30 years. We are excited about extending our services to include ABA Therapy for the growing number of autistic children already receiving therapies in our center.
This is a contract position with competitive per unit reimbursement. Children enrolled in the Community School attend Mon-Fri from 8:30AM-3:00PM and are provided transportation to our facility. This ensures a captive and consistent caseload for our therapeutic staff with no cancellations or no-shows. The Community School provides extensive administrative support to our therapeutic staff allowing them to focus on direct therapeutic treatment – not paperwork and billing. We provide schedule autonomy and flexibility.
Education/Certification/Experience:
Certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analytic Certification
Current license to practice in Arkansas
Current or eligible Medicaid Enrolled Provider
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for implementation and oversight of the ABA program
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and design, analyze, and modify ABA programs based on assessment results and ongoing data
- Provide and oversee family guidance, supports, and direct services
- Provide training, mentorship, and supervision to center employees including Paraprofessionals, RBTs, and interns
- Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with client caregivers
- Maintain professional and collaborative relationship with classroom paraprofessionals, RBTs, and other therapeutic staff
