Primary School Instructor

Community School of Digital and Visual Arts, a reputable and innovative educational institution, seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic K-5 Elementary School Teacher to join our team. We seek a passionate educator who can inspire and engage students, helping them build a strong academic foundation for lifelong success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and state standards
• Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
• Utilize various teaching methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and adjusting instruction as needed
• Foster strong parent-teacher relationships through effective communication and collaboration
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports
• Uphold and enforce school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field
• Valid state teaching license/certification for K-5 or Elementary Education
• Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience (preferred, but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic teaching environment
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction
