Community Service Foundation is seeking a full-time counselor for Buxmont Academy's Pottstown campus. If you are a dedicated, caring individual who enjoys working with at-risk students, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and values learning and new experiences, we want you!
About Us:
Buxmont Academy and Community Service Foundation (CSF) are committed to providing education, counseling, and other services to help young people in grades 7-12 grow and change through restorative practices. With 6 campuses in southeastern PA, Buxmont Academy offers small class sizes and a high teacher-to-student ratio. Our staff works as an educational and therapeutic team to support each student.
Counselor Responsibilities:
- Promote positive school culture
- Conduct behavioral interventions
- Facilitate circles and groups
- Manage regulatory paperwork and reports
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in counseling or a human services-related field
- Adolescent behavioral support experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high-stress situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
