Job Summary
This Autism Services Consultant position at Community Services for Autistic Adults & Children requires a highly skilled professional to develop and implement behavior management plans for day and residential students. The ideal candidate will have expertise in autism services, excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing behavioral consultation to school staff to assist individuals in meeting their behavioral goals
- Developing and monitoring implementation of behavior management plans
- Assisting in intake process for new students
- Designing treatment strategies for behavioral and instructional programming
- Training CSM and residential staff on treatment strategies
- Maintaining systems for delivery of behavior management services that meet COMAR regulations, Autism Waiver, DDA and DHR standards
Requirements
A Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, active BCBA certification, and LBA licensure are required. A minimum of five years' experience providing services as BCBA and designing behavior management plans is also necessary.
