POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Intern is responsible for as needed assistance to the IT department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High School Diploma or GED
Experience : Must be starting in the IT field in school or a
certification program
Skills : Good oral and written communications skills.
Must possess computer literacy required with a
proficiency in standard business software applications
e.g. word processing, e-mail and spreadsheet).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Remove hardware from old computers and inventory and packaging.
- Organize inventory (desktops, laptops, printers, and tablets)
- Visiting CSAAC group homes in the community to spot check and PM all equipment.
- Barcode and label (WASP) all incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Keep the computer lab organized and neat.
- Check TeamViewer daily for errors and outages.
- Provide technical support : Respond to CIMS helpdesk tickets and assist employees with technical issues.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing, and configuring computer systems and peripherals devices.
- Attend as needed IT Team Meetings
- All other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
