Community Services for Children is looking for an Innovation Lab Coach to develop and implement an appropriate lab environment for our preschool classrooms! This role is vital in fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) among our children. Work Environment: A $500 monetary incentive will be paid to newly employed Community Services for Children staff members. The $500 payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement digital media educational literacy to support the mental health and developmental needs of each enrolled child
- Comply with all innovation lab programming regulations, accreditation standards, and child development principles
- Provide a positive learning environment to guide children in developing self-regulation behaviors
- Provide technology and software support to education staff within the preschool environment
- Problem-solve operational issues in conjunction with IT staff to maintain the innovation lab capabilities
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe learning environment
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in an Early Childhood Education or related field
- Three years of experience with preschool children
- Two years of experience with information technology
- Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
- English/Spanish bi-lingual a plus
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. in order to assist children as needed and to move equipment and materials
